Tour Plan

Azul, Asalamu Alaykum. Our journey starts from Marrakech. Pick up from your Riad or hotel. We travel over the Tizi Ntichka road. We pause on our way to admire the beauty of southeast Morocco. Arriving at Ait Ben Haddou, which is one of the most impressive kasbahs in Morocco, built with mud clay from the banks of the river. That’s why it's cited as a World Heritage status by UNESCO. We continue our road to Ouarzazate, the road of a thousand Kasbahs, the Rose Valley, and the green and fertile Gorges of Dades.

After breakfast in Dades, we head to Todra. On our way, we will enjoy the panoramic view of the old mud Berber villages overlooking the valley. We will have our lunch and then continue our journey to the desert, passing by the sleeping town of Erfoud, known for its fossil production. Our next destination will be the biggest sand dunes of Morocco. Check into a welcoming desert inn. After freshening up, climb aboard your designated camel for a ride into the edge of the Sahara Desert – what better way to enjoy the spectacular sunset? The dunes shine as the evening light plays across them and sets off the colors of the desert. Tonight, marvel at the expansive night sky and try some fantastic local cuisine while you sit around an open fire, enjoying live music and dancing in this unforgettable location.

Next day we return to our Auberge for a shower and breakfast. Another journey will start into Ouarzazate, taking different routes (the old Caravane routes) and passing by many southern villages and towns such as Tazarin and Alnif, continuing across the longest river valley of Daraa. Arriving in Ouarzazate at night.

On our last day back to Marrakech, we will visit Kasbah Taourirt, a fortified residence complex that was built in the 17th century by a local family. The city of Ouarzazate is also known for its studios where scenes of many movies such as Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, and Gladiator were filmed. A visit to these studios is a must. Arrive in Marrakech by the afternoon. Tour ends.
